From January 2024, we started serial deliveries of drawn annealed wire to the Nedschroef plant in Alten. The actual signing of the contract was preceded by trial deliveries, in which we passed with flying colors not only in terms of material quality, but also thanks to an interesting price and reference deliveries to our existing customers, whose significance on the market is comparable to the Nedschroef group.
We will deliver a wide range of wire from 3.47 mm to 8.24 mm in diameter to Altena, Germany. The majority share is occupied by wires with thin diameters of around 5 mm intended for the production of screws. The volume of deliveries is also interesting, with the prospect of shipping up to 250 tons per month.
The Nedschroef Group is probably the largest producer of fasteners for the automotive industry in Europe. There are also business opportunities in the other six plants of the group in Germany, Denmark and the Netherlands. Either we are currently negotiating test deliveries there or we are already in the testing mode.
